Working Together
Creating a safe, supportive, and respectful experience begins with clear expectations. The following outlines my policies, professional boundaries, privacy practices, and important terms so we can begin with mutual understanding, trust, and care.
Session Policies
Booking & Payment
Payment is required in full at the time of booking to reserve your session. For mentorship offerings, full payment is required before your mentorship begins unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. To begin working together, you'll complete a confidential intake form. Once I've reviewed it, I'll personally reach out to coordinate scheduling.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens, and I understand that plans may occasionally change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice so I can offer that time to another client. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the forfeiture of your session, except in cases of emergency or other circumstances at my discretion. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your session will be considered a missed appointment and canceled. Because this time has been reserved exclusively for you, the full session fee will still apply.
Mentorship
Mentorship provides consistent support through bi-weekly sessions and ongoing communication between sessions. You'll be able to message me with questions, reflections, or for feedback throughout. I'll always do my best to respond at my earliest convenience during regular business hours; messages received after 9:00 p.m. will be answered the following business day. Mentorship messaging is intended to provide guidance, accountability, support, and feedback between sessions. It is not a crisis support service or a substitute for emergency medical or mental health care.
Because mentorship reserves dedicated time and ongoing availability, all mentorship purchases are non-refundable. Refunds will only be considered in the event of a documented medical condition that prevents continued participation. Scheduling conflicts, changes in availability, or an inability to commit to the program do not qualify for a refund.
Virtual Sessions
Virtual sessions are held via Zoom. Please choose a quiet, private space where you can remain free from interruptions for the duration of your session. Most of the breathwork experience takes place lying down, so I recommend preparing a comfortable space with water, a pillow, blanket, tissues, a journal, and an optional eye mask.
In-Person Sessions
Private in-person sessions are currently available within approximately one hour of the greater Sacramento area. Travel outside this area may be available for an additional travel fee. Please ensure there is adequate space available for us to comfortably move through the session together.
Privacy During Your Session
To create a safe, supportive, and distraction-free environment, I ask that sessions take place in a private space whenever possible. Unless we've discussed it in advance, other household members or visitors should not be present in the room during your session.
If children are in the home, please arrange for childcare whenever possible so you can be fully present throughout your experience. For virtual sessions, I also recommend silencing notifications and minimizing potential distractions to help you remain fully immersed in your journey.
Pets
Well-behaved pets are welcome as long as they do not interfere with the session. If needed, I may ask that pets remain in another area so we can maintain a calm, uninterrupted environment.
Recording & Photography
Your privacy is important to me. I will never photograph, video record, or audio record any part of your session without your explicit permission. Likewise, I ask that sessions not be photographed, audio recorded, or video recorded without prior mutual consent. This helps protect both your privacy and the integrity of our work together.
Professional Boundaries & Right to Refuse Service
Creating a safe, respectful environment is a shared responsibility. I ask that all communication and interactions be conducted with kindness, honesty, and mutual respect. Any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, inappropriate behavior, unwanted physical contact, sexual advances, sexually inappropriate comments or conduct, abusive language, or behavior that compromises the safety of either client or facilitator will not be tolerated. If at any time I feel that my safety, professional boundaries, or well-being are compromised, I reserve the right to immediately end the session or discontinue our professional relationship without refund.
I also reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if I believe breathwork is not an appropriate fit, if important health information has been withheld, if my policies are repeatedly disregarded, or if continuing our work together would not be in the best interest of either party.
For in-person sessions, clients are responsible for providing a safe, clean, smoke-free, and interruption-free environment. If I arrive and determine that the environment is unsafe or unsuitable for facilitating the session, I reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the appointment in accordance with these policies.
